Deputy V∴Ill∴Bro. Alexander Malcolm
In submitting my Annual Report for the
Province of Scotland-East to the Supreme Council for Scotland, I am happy to report
that the Rite is in good health and our Sovereign Councils and Chapters
continue working extremely hard to maintaining the high standards of our ceremonials.
This can only be achieved by the effort and commitment of the Illustrious Grand
Commanders the Most Wise Sovereigns and their keen hard working office bearers
and perhaps the overseeing of the Past Grand Commanders and Past Most Wise
Sovereigns who continue to offer their support to the Ancient and Accepted
On your behalf I thank them for their
commitment and great friendship extended to the many well-travelled visitors
The administration work within the Sovereign
Chapters and Councils continues to be carried out with competence by very
experienced and dedicated Secretaries and Treasurers. The Annual Balance Sheets and Statements of
Accounts are in a most satisfactory state, this is not only due to the steady
flow of entrants into our Sovereign Councils and Chapters but the generosity of
the Members of our Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite. The charitable giving of
our Members is admirable and again I thank you one and all.
During the year under review I attended
most of the meetings of the Sovereign Councils and Chapters within the
Province, I assisted in all the Installations and take this opportunity to
thank the Members of The Supreme Council Deputations who invited me to assist
them during their official visits at the Installation Meetings.
It is sad to report that some of our
Members have been called to higher service. We remember them with affection and
our thoughts and prayers are with their Families and Friends.
In conclusion I wish to thank the Members
of The Supreme Council for Scotland for their continuing support, guidance and
To our Grand Secretary General M∴Ill∴Bro.
