Annual Report and Upcoming Kalendar

Scotland - East

Deputy VIllBro. Alexander Malcolm McGregor 33°

It is with pleasure that I submit my report for the Province of Scotland – East.

During the year I was fortunate to attend most of the Meetings of the Sovereign Councils and Chapters. I extend my thanks to the Supreme Council Deputations for inviting me to take part in the ceremonial at the Annual Installations. To the Illustrious Brethren and Excellent and Perfect Companions of the Sovereign Councils and Chapters for their warm welcome and hospitality I thank you and wish you continued success.  The ceremonial work in the Province is of the highest quality and the Office-bearers are to be congratulated.

Once again it was a pleasure to hear the various Minutes, Correspondence, Annual Statement of Accounts and Balance Sheets. The Secretaries and Treasures deserve our heartfelt thanks for all they do for their Sovereign Councils and Chapters. I must also at this time thank the Standing Committees for the extra work they do, but not to forget the Members who set up and store away our various paraphernalia allowing us to sit down and enjoy our Meetings, thank you all.

On a sadder note again we have lost some of our well respected Illustrious Brethren and Excellent and Perfect Companions, we mourn their passing and send our very best wishes to their families who miss them dearly.

On a brighter note “Fiona is back” recovered on the mend and certainly on the case. I was made aware of this when I opened an email from Fiona, asking that I forward the Annual Report for Scotland East! It’s in the post. Welcome back Fiona and a very warm welcome to our new Lady at 94a George Street, Jemma Cowan. We hope you find the work rewarding and enjoy the comradeship within the Order.

Mrs Sheena Rafferty I’m sure you will agree deserves a special vote of thanks for coming to our aid at a time of great need.

I extend my grateful thanks to The Grand Secretary General M∴Ill∴Bro. Alexander Galbraith for his guidance and support over the last year and Mrs Fiona Hoggarth the Office Manager for her patience.
